The recommended time for ordering your wedding or formal dress is 2 to 6 months before your event. "The sooner the better rule" also applies to Grad-Prom dresses. New Graduation-Prom dresses are usually in store by January of each year, and the season's most popular styles can sell out very quickly. We recommend planning to order your Grad-Prom dress early to avoid disappointment if the dress you LOVE sells out.
While most Wedding and Formal dresses available online have faster delivery times than traditional bridal stores, it's still important to place your order early enough before your Wedding or event to allow your seamstress time for any alterations you may need to have done to your dress after you receive it.
