Switch it up a little

I have 2 brothers and my fiance has 2 sisters.

I was thinking how nice it would be to have my brothers stand up for me at my wedding.  Instead of having maid and maitron of honors I would like to have my brothers.

If we do this, instead of having a best man, my fiancee could have his two sisters.

What do you think about this idea?

I think it's a good idea.Why not it's your wedding. It's even numbers and there is nothing wrong with making it more personal.If best male friends can be men of honors why not?

Brothers and sisters come in handy at this time. That is if you are having good relationships with them. I am all in for it. It is much more easier to arrange everything with them rather than outsiders.

A great idea-- why not!  If you are close to your siblings then I think they should be able to be in the wedding party- and it fits perfectly.

It also brought such a family feeling to the ceremony.  Having both families up there standing by their sibling and sharing in their unity together.
