Mother daughter dance

I was at a wedding last night and they had a mother / daughter dance.  It was so sweet.  I have never seen this before.  They played the song, "In My Daughters Eyes". 

Has anyone seen this before~ what are your thoughts on this?

It's different and I think nice though.Especially if there's no father or close grandfather or other male figure that can do this.It's not something I would do personally but to each there own.

I should have explained this better.  The mother was the bride and her daughter is 7.  She had a special dance for her and her daughter.  It was very cute. 

My niece had a special dance for her and her mother too.  It was "This Ones For The Girls"~ she included her aunts in the dance too, and then lots of guests joined in the dance too.
