Do you think that the guests invited to the wedding should get dressed to the T for weddings?

Jeans are ALWAYS a no. Unless you are having very causul wedding. I'd never show up in jeans. Usually people enjoy the oppertunity to get dolled up:)

I find it pretty horrible for people to wear jeans and t-shirts to a wedding. Yes, it does happen here. I think you don't have to wear a tie but a short sleeve shirt and a slack will do fine. For the ladies, a dress would be nic :)e.

We had a very casual wedding and everyone wore what they wanted, jeans included!

I believe the guests should dress up for formal, traditional weddings, assuming we are talking Christian, Jewish, or Muslim weddings.

If it is a real formal wedding then I think nothing less than slacks and a button up shirt for men and pretty dress or slacks skirt with nice blouse for women. Just out of respect only dress casual if it is a casual wedding.

I think if young teenage boys are invited to the wedding, it is fine for them to wear jeans, but only if they are nice jeans and topped off with a nice button up top.
My son just wore a pair of khaki shorts with a button up top to a wedding last night and I think he was dressed fine.
Now for adults, I think that men should wear nice dress pants and ladies either nice pants or a dress.
