What do you think about this?  A bride choosing her best friend who happens to be a man to serve as the maid or man of honor?  I had a friend who did this-
I thought it was great.  Not having them just be another usher- but someone who played an important role in the actual wedding, the wedding planning, and the bridal shower.

I don't have a problem with it. It is getting more common for a bride to choose along-time male friend as her man of honor. However, he might not be able to perform certain tasks that goes with the role such as assist the bride in her dressing, or manage her veil or the train of her wedding dress during the wedding day.

I love the idea.

My neice did this.  She had her two brothers stand up for her and he had his two sisters be the best women.   It was so nice to see them up there with their siblings by their side.
