High Heels or Flats?

I know that it is traditional to wear high heels with formal dresses, but everyone dances at prom making high heels painful.  Would you leave you high heels behind in favor of flats or dancing, or would you wear your high heels and suffer?

I would wear heels.I'm short..I need all the help I can get.Haha. If I found the right flats though and it looked great with my outfit I would do that too.It really just depends.More then likely I'd take off the heels and dance barefoot.

I have to agree I too am short and would opt for the high heels and if my feet started hurting too badly I'd probably just take them off and go barefoot for a while.

I think it depends on your date. If he was shorter or closer to my height I'd keep it lower.

I usually wear heels everywhere and wind up taking them off for dancing!
