Are you going to take your wedding money and spend it on a honeymoon?  Or are you going to use it for more practicle things?

We wasted ours. You would think that after getting all these gifts we would be good...but we spent almost all of it. There is something about tons of cash in your hand that makes you go crazy. We were stupid.

I 'm sorry to hear that you waisted yours.  Maybe this will give others the idea to put some away.

We took some and spent it and put the rest away in savings.

Well we are really wanting to actually go away for our honeymoon but it does not look like we will have the money. So, most likely we will put ours towards a honeymoon even though it would be great to use it towards daily life needs we feel we deserve this splurge.

Honeymoon is a must for us. Having it later doesn't give the same feelings as right after one marriage. Though we cannot afford to go far, it is still a romantic getaways for us as we can have all the time alone together in an island where you can see through the pristine water.

I agree that a honeymoon is a must. We were lucky.  my sister gave us a week at the beach in her condo and my other sister bought us the airline tickets to get there.  Our honeymoon didn't cost us much.

We did save ahead for it because we didnt want to have to use any of our wedding money for it.

I guess close relatives can save us tonne of money. With sisters like that, I can start to plan for my second honeymoon!

We spent all of our money on our honeymoon. Of course, we didn't get much, about $70 but we didn't go far for our honeymoon either. It was still nice!

Our honeymoon certainly cost a little more than the wedding itself. Although we didnt go mad we had a fabulous time.
