Every bride wants her skin to look perfect on her wedding day. Outdoor wedding makeup should look natural - almost as if you're not wearing makeup at all. Suprisingly, most makeup stylists agree that it takes longer to achieve the almost natural look than it does to create a bolder makeup look.
If you're getting married on the beach, follow these simple steps to get a glowing and natural look.
Start with a tinted moisturizer instead of foundation. If your complexion needs more coverage, choose a lightweight foundtion to cover skin problems. Don't apply heavy foundation to your face, or it will look like you're wearing mask.
Add a barely-there touch of blush to your cheeks, and a liquid, all-day lipstick and gloss to your lips. For a fresh bridal look, choose lipstick in shades of coral or pink instead of brown colors.
Create a dewy look for your eyes with a creaseproof eyeshadow in a neutral color. To create a natural look, apply the eyeshadow to your upper lids only.
Don't apply color to lower lids or you will end up with a look that is too bold for the beach. Finish eyes with a single coat of mascara.
Before and after the wedding, if you spend time basking in the sun on the beach, don't forget to wear a hat and use an SPF on your entire body. Reapply protection every time you come out of the water.
